The Importance of Hiring a Professional Tree Service

There are certain tasks in your yard that are fine to DIY, but others should be left to professionals. Tree services that include stump grinding, tree removal, tree pruning, and tree trimming should be left to a tree company. What are some reasons to hire a professional tree service?

Experience and Knowledge

There are proper techniques for tree services. Damaging your trees or property is more likely to happen when you don’t have experience in tree services. Knowing the correct way to do these things will help keep your trees healthy and safe. Don’t take a chance and accidentally have your large tree fall on your roof. Leave removal and stump grinding to someone that knows about trees and has been working with them for years – such as us!

Safety

Working with trees is a dangerous task, especially when your yard is full of many big trees. There are other factors to consider when it comes to your property and what’s around it – power lines, wood that is decaying, and equipment. When you hire a professional tree service, they are licensed and equipped to handle trees of all kinds. You are better off not trying tree maintenance on your own. For the safety of you and everyone living in your home, please leave it to us!

Limitations

When you are looking to trim a taller tree than your home, how were you planning to do it? There aren’t ladders tall enough to reach the top of certain backyard trees, nor would it be safe to do on a ladder. At Dudley Tree & Crane, we have the equipment to reach heights that you wouldn’t be able to achieve on your own. We can get all of your tree services done quickly and efficiently without any limitations.

Efficiency

If you want to be efficient with your tree services, hire a professional to do it all. If you need a tree removed and other trees trimmed, have them do everything. This is the most efficient way of using tree service companies. We are professionals, and we know just how to take care of everything. Our services are quick and easy. Trying to trim and prune trees on your own will take up a whole afternoon or two. We can get it done in one day, without any effort needed on your part.

The Tallest Trees You’ll Find in New England

New England is full of beautiful forests and some of the tallest trees in the world. People come from all over to see New England foliage and trees because of their size and look. No matter where you are in any of the states in the North East, you’ll find something amazing to look at.

New Hampshire’s Skinny White Pine

The tallest tree you’ll find in New Hampshire is a skinny white pine, which is 166 feet tall and located on a private estate in Claremont. No one is sure who owns the estate, but if you are in the Claremont area, take a look at the white pines.

The Mighty Tulip of Rhode Island

Tulip trees have large flowers that look like tulips and are related to magnolias. In Rhode Island, a few tulips trees have said to be the tallest in Rhode Island. The one declared as the tallest by the Cranston Herald is located in Warwick and is 126 feet tall. However, the Native Tree Society claims the tallest tree is located in Kingston, RI, and stands 115.7 feet tall.

Vermont’s White Pine

According to Eastern Native Tree Society, Vermont’s tallest tree is a 143.4-foot white pine tree located in Arlington. It’s located in the Fisher-Scott Memorial Pines Natural Area, where trees are safe from development. Vermont is known to take their champion trees very seriously and keeps a record of the tallest trees by town and species.

Jake Swamp

Jake Swamp is the name of the tallest tree in Massachusetts. It is a 163.2-foot tall white pine tree located in the Trees of Peace Grove in Mohawk Trail State Forest. This tree was discovered by Robert Leverett, who was a big tree hunter. Massachusetts has an array of tall trees, such as another located in the center of Sunderland. It’s a sapling with a 32-foot circumference.

Unofficial Champion of Maine

With no available reliable heights in Maine, many claim the tallest tree is a chestnut tree. The tallest tree claimed in Maine is a 120-foot white pine in Morrill. Maine does have a registry of tall trees, but even that is considered unreliable. However, Maine can claim the tallest chestnut tree in North America. The tree is 115 feet tall – 20 feet more than its next competitor. With only a dozen chestnut trees left in Maine, these are a special sight to see.

Gold Standard in Connecticut

The most famous tree in Connecticut is located in Simsbury. This is a 104-foot tall Pinchot Sycamore that is over 200 years old. Floodlights shine on it at night, making it a beautiful sight to see. Although it isn’t the tallest, it is the most famous in the state. The tallest tree goes to a 144.6-foot tall white pine in a small forest in West Cornwall.
