The Tallest Trees You’ll Find in New England

New England is full of beautiful forests and some of the tallest trees in the world. People come from all over to see New England foliage and trees because of their size and look. No matter where you are in any of the states in the North East, you’ll find something amazing to look at.

New Hampshire’s Skinny White Pine

The tallest tree you’ll find in New Hampshire is a skinny white pine, which is 166 feet tall and located on a private estate in Claremont. No one is sure who owns the estate, but if you are in the Claremont area, take a look at the white pines.

The Mighty Tulip of Rhode Island

Tulip trees have large flowers that look like tulips and are related to magnolias. In Rhode Island, a few tulips trees have said to be the tallest in Rhode Island. The one declared as the tallest by the Cranston Herald is located in Warwick and is 126 feet tall. However, the Native Tree Society claims the tallest tree is located in Kingston, RI, and stands 115.7 feet tall.

Vermont’s White Pine

The tree is 115 feet tall – 20 feet more than its next competitor. With only a dozen chestnut trees left in Maine, these are a special sight to see.
